Writers Block… (and some Hurricate Katrina Thoughts)

This is a first for me. I have writers block. I’ve got at least 10 ideas for blog posts, but totally lack the motivation to write them up. Sat down at the computer this evening with some time set aside to write. And it isn’t coming. Sorry. Maybe I’ll feel more motivated tomorrow. But I’ll leave you with this little idea that I heard on the radio this morning (and am too lazy to fully develop…)

We as outsiders on the Hurricane Katrina can’t possible understand what it is like to be in that disaster zone. We really aren’t in a position to judge the actions of the people who are looting supermarkets for bread and water to live on. Or for the people who stole the mail truck to escape the disaster area. I can’t possibly imagine what it is like for those people.

I’ve made my donation to the support effort and I strongly encourage you to follow suit (red cross). (Or even better give to McCormick Tribute who will match $0.50 on the dollar up to $2 million and handle all the administrative fees so your money goes right to the people that need it).
